  This is only a *guess* because I don't work for Tribe -- I'm just a user.
  
  To me, it looks representative of "people" (the dark dots) that are "connected" (the lines) forming a "ring" (or "community") around a common center (the big circle in the middle).
  
  That is just my two cents.
