During researching symbols I came across a box with numerals in it which one would trace a symbol by tracing the numbers of the particular word to symbolize.
Odd thing was the way the numerals were placed, not in sequence. Anyone seen the box or technique before?

Mon, April 16, 2007 - 1:31 PMIt sounds to me like you are describing a "Magic Square" -- where the numbers in any given row or column add to produce the same number in all directions. Try adding the numbers in one of the rows and see if it matches the same number obtained by adding the numbers in a column. If so, you have a "Magic Square," a curious little device that is useful in mathematical pursuits as well as witchcraft. -
